A woman was rescued after a Porsche SUV crashed through a concrete barrier and dangled from the third floor of a parking garage in Coral Gables, Florida on Monday. The incident occurred after the driver accidentally hit the accelerator, causing the vehicle to hang halfway out of the garage, supported by a tree. The woman was brought to safety by rescue workers using ropes and was taken to a nearby hospital in stable condition. Emergency personnel responded to the scene, and the dramatic incident was witnessed by onlookers, including an employee from a nearby doctor’s office who heard the impact. A crane was later used to remove the vehicle, and structural engineers inspected the garage for damage. Despite the intense situation, officials noted that the woman remained fairly calm throughout the rescue process. Coral Gables Fire Rescue Chief Xavier Jones commended the response of the rescue workers, who were able to safely extract the driver from the dangling SUV.
