A drone strike was launched towards Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s house in Caesarea, but he and his wife were not in the building at the time and no casualties were reported. The Israel Defense Forces said a drone from Lebanon hit a structure in the area, with two other drones intercepted. The incident is under review. This attack comes shortly after Israel killed Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in a military operation in Gaza. Sinwar was responsible for terrorist attacks and his death was a significant blow to Hamas. Netanyahu stated that this was the “beginning of the end” for Hamas, but the war is not over yet. Following Sinwar’s death, Hezbollah, a Lebanon-based militant group and Hamas ally, pledged to escalate the fighting against Israel. This event is still unfolding, and updates are expected.
