Country singer Sundance Head, winner of Season 11 of ‘The Voice,’ was injured by a stray bullet on his ranch in Texas, taking him to a hospital in Tyler with a round lodged in his stomach. Despite the scary incident, surgery was deemed unnecessary as the bullet missed all vital organs. Head’s wife Misty asked for prayers on Facebook, and his agent suspects the bullet came from a nearby hunter’s errant gunfire. Head began his music career at 33 after failing to advance on ‘American Idol,’ and went on to win ‘The Voice’ under Blake Shelton’s coaching in 2016. He released multiple albums and returned to the show for Shelton’s send-off last year. The incident is under investigation, and there is no information on how it occurred, apart from the fact that it was not self-inflicted. Head’s father, Roy Head, is also a musician, but Sundance did not achieve success in music until later in his life. He has had a successful career since his win on ‘The Voice’ and is known for his powerful vocals and engaging performances.
