The University of South Carolina Gamecocks women’s golf team has added three talented future players to their roster. Eila Galitsky from Thailand, Molly McLean from Australia, and Laura Nepper from France have all signed financial aid agreements to join the team. Galitsky, ranked in the top-25 of the World Amateur Golf Rankings, will enroll early and compete in the spring, while McLean and Nepper will join in the fall.
According to Golfweek, this recruiting class is ranked No. 3, with Galitsky being ranked as the No. 4 individual player. Galitsky comes with an impressive resume, including wins at the 2023 Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship and the 2024 SINGHA – NSDF event. McLean, known for her iron play and mental toughness, has multiple top-10 finishes, while Nepper, a member of the French National Team, has two victories this season.
Head coach Kalen Anderson praised all three players for their talent, experience, and dedication to the game. Galitsky’s dynamic personality and international experience, McLean’s strong iron play and mental skills, and Nepper’s well-rounded game and motivation were highlighted as key qualities that will benefit the Gamecocks’ program. The addition of these three promising talents is expected to strengthen the team and elevate their performance in upcoming tournaments.
