Avion Hospitality Takes Over Management of Two Hyatt Hotels in Charleston, SC
Charleston, SC – Avion Hospitality has officially taken over the management of the Hyatt House and Hyatt Place hotels situated in Charleston’s Historic District, marking a pivotal expansion in the hospitality sector. The 113-room Hyatt House and the 191-room Hyatt Place are now under Avion’s stewardship following their acquisition by Highline Hospitality Partners, a company distinguished for investing in full and select-service hotels across the United States.
Highline Hospitality Partners has ambitious plans to transform one of the properties into a boutique Hyatt brand, a move backed by Highline’s managing partner, Chuck Pomerantz. "Avion has proven to be a strong operator for Highline, and we are confident in their ability to execute this business plan," Pomerantz stated.
The hotels boast an advantageous location, providing guests with easy access to South Carolina’s stunning beaches and the historic downtown area. Amenities include a shared rooftop bar and over 8,000 square feet of event space, catering to both leisure and business travelers.
Robert Burg, CEO and President of Avion Hospitality, expressed optimism about this new venture: "We look forward to expanding our relationship with Highline Hospitality, a trusted partner and owner. Our team is focused on achieving our owner’s goals and is ready to drive results for these important Hyatt Hotels in Charleston."
In addition to the Charleston properties, Avion has recently secured a management contract for the renowned Windsor Court Hotel in New Orleans, further solidifying its reputation in the hospitality industry. Meanwhile, Hyatt continues to expand its own portfolio with the introduction of the Thompson Palm Springs in California, showcasing its ongoing commitment to premium accommodations.
