Palmetto Sports & Entertainment, Gray Media’s sports broadcast channel, has announced a partnership with the South Carolina Stingrays to air select home games live through April. The network is available on Gray Media stations across South Carolina and has been broadcasting live games earlier this year with the Charleston Battery and Charleston RiverDogs.
The Stingrays President, Rob Concannon, expressed excitement about promoting and televising professional hockey in Charleston and partnering with Palmetto Sports & Entertainment and Live 5. This partnership will provide fans across the state the opportunity to watch the fastest game in the world for free. Palmetto Sports & Entertainment also covers other professional teams such as the Charleston Battery, Charleston RiverDogs, Columbia Fireflies, Greenville Triumph, and Greenville Liberty.
The South Carolina Stingrays games will air live on Palmetto Sports and Entertainment on select Saturdays, including matchups against teams like the Atlanta Gladiators and Orlando Solar Bears. This partnership aims to expand the fan base for the Stingrays and increase local sports coverage throughout the state.
