South Carolina’s volleyball team continued its offensive dominance with a sweep over Alabama on Friday night. The Gamecocks, coming off a record-setting win against LSU, showcased a .418 hitting percentage and strong performances from Riley Whitesides and Campbell Paris. In the first set, the Gamecocks relied on their blocking to gain an early advantage and secured a 25-22 win. The second set was a back-and-forth battle with 11 ties and three lead changes, but South Carolina managed to pull through with a 26-24 win. The Gamecocks carried the momentum into the third set, eventually closing out the match with a 25-22 victory.

Campbell Paris stood out with 16 kills and a career-high .625 hitting percentage, while Sarah Jordan recorded 39 assists and three service aces. The team’s hitting efficiency has been on the rise, going from .343 against LSU to .418 against Alabama. South Carolina’s strong performance also saw them allow just one block by Alabama, a season low for blocks against the Gamecocks.
