A woman has been arrested in Summerville, South Carolina, after allegedly driving a van that struck a bicycle and two motorcyclists over the weekend before fleeing the scene. Brittany Lawson, 35, is facing charges including grand larceny, felony DUI, hit and run with great bodily injury, and two counts of hit and run. The incident occurred on South Pointe Boulevard on Saturday afternoon, with the van later found abandoned in a ditch after being reported stolen earlier that day. The cyclist sustained severe injuries and was taken to the hospital, while the two motorcyclists suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Lawson was apprehended by police shortly after the incident and is currently being held at the Berkeley County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.
