The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City marked the official start to the Christmas season with a star-studded lineup of performances and appearances. The parade featured the likes of Santa Claus, Jennifer Hudson, Dan + Shay, Jimmy Fallon, T-Pain, Bishop Briggs, Cynthia Erivo, Paw Patrol, Spider-Man, Kylie Minogue, Rachel Platten, Hoda Kotb, Minnie Mouse, and more.
Highlights of the parade included Jennifer Hudson singing from her holiday album, Dan + Shay performing their Christmas song, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots bringing festive cheer, T-Pain delivering a show-stopping performance, and Bishop Briggs covering the Rolling Stones.
Additionally, the Broadway cast of Death Becomes Her performed, Idina Menzel sang on the Bronx Zoo’s float, and Hell’s Kitchen musical cast showcased their talents.
Not even a popped balloon could dampen the spirits of the parade, as Bluey’s balloon was quickly repaired before the event.
