Jackson Repp commits to South Carolina | Sports

Christ Church wide receiver Jackson Repp earned a preferred walk-on spot at South Carolina after initially receiving a scholarship offer from coach Shane Beamer last summer. Despite a torn ACL that slowed down his recruiting process, Repp remained committed to the Gamecocks with support from the coaching staff. He officially committed to the program with the plan to go on scholarship in January.

As a junior, Repp put up impressive numbers on the field, showcasing his skills as a receiver and in special teams. Beamer and receivers coach Mike Furrey see his potential in multiple roles within the team, emphasizing his speed and versatility. Repp’s standout performance in camp, where he demonstrated his speed, caught the attention of the USC staff and solidified his position on the team.

Repp’s commitment adds depth to South Carolina’s 2025 recruiting class, with a focus on in-state talent. Despite his height being a potential limitation, Repp’s skills and speed make him a valuable asset that can be utilized in various ways on the field.
