Tennessee Ranks 5th in U-Haul Growth Index
Nashville, Tenn. – According to the annual U-Haul Growth Index, Tennessee has been ranked 5th in the nation for growth based on inbound, one-way rentals into the state. The U-Haul Growth Index is determined by analyzing company rental data to gauge the net gain or loss of one-way customer U-Haul equipment. For the 2024 report, Southern states continue to dominate the list, with South Carolina taking the top spot, followed by Texas, North Carolina, Florida, and Tennessee. California was ranked last on the U-Haul list.
Governor Bill Lee acknowledged Tennessee’s achievement, commenting, “Once again, TN has been ranked a top state for growth by @uhaul. As people continue to move to the Volunteer State in record numbers, we’re making the right investments to guarantee opportunity, security, and freedom for every family and business that calls TN home.”
With Tennessee’s consistent growth and attracting new residents, the state is expected to continue its upward trajectory and remain an appealing destination for individuals and businesses seeking opportunities.
