The body of a University of Colorado student, Megan Trussell, who had been reported missing, was found in difficult-to-reach terrain in Boulder County. Trussell, 18, was last seen at her residence hall on February 9th. The Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Boulder County Coroner’s Office, are conducting a joint investigation into the cause of death. The body was found near Boulder Canyon Drive, about 14 minutes from campus, and required a technical evacuation, including rappelling, due to its location.
