South Carolina Stingrays Continue Winning Streak with Fifth Straight Victory over Greenville


The South Carolina Stingrays secured a 5-1 victory over the Greenville Swamp Rabbits in front of a crowd of over 4,000 fans during their inaugural Vinyl Night game. Jordan Klimek netted two goals, with Alexander Suzdalev, Josh Wilkins, and Tyler Weiss also scoring for the Stingrays. Goaltender Garin Bjorklund made 25 saves to secure the win. The Rays took the lead early in the first period, with Klimek scoring both of his goals in the opening frame. After the Swamp Rabbits cut the lead to one in the second period, South Carolina responded with goals from Suzdalev, Wilkins, and Weiss to seal the victory. The Stingrays will face the Atlanta Gladiators next on Saturday night at the North Charleston Coliseum for their annual Star Wars night presented by Jeff Cook Real Estate.
