Two South Carolina residents are facing charges of burglary, narcotics possession, and child cruelty after a home invasion in Franklin County. The incident occurred on Monday, Feb. 24, when law enforcement responded to a call reporting a home invasion in Lavonia. Two residents were charged with burglary and cruelty to children, while another was charged with possession of THC oil and marijuana with intent to distribute, as well as cruelty to children. Additional search warrants executed the next day led to the seizure of firearms, cash, and more narcotics. The new charges include possession of psilocybin mushrooms, hydrocodone, and alprazolam with intent to distribute. Authorities suggest that more suspects may be involved as the investigation progresses. Now Habersham has reached out to police for further details on the identities of the suspects.
