South Carolina Gamecocks Shine at 2025 SEC Indoor Track & Field Championships

In a stellar performance at the 2025 SEC Indoor Track & Field Championships, the South Carolina Gamecocks secured 13 spots on the All-SEC teams. JaMeesia Ford stood out by earning a placement on the First Team All-SEC after winning the gold medal in the women’s 200m with a time of 22.44. Ford also contributed to the team’s success by finishing runner-up in the DMR and 4x400m relay, earning a total of three medals.

The Gamecocks had six athletes on the Second Team All-SEC, including Zaya Akins, Sylvia Chelangat, Jayla Jamison, and CJ Licata, who all made significant contributions to the team’s success. Additionally, the Third Team All-SEC squad included six Gamecocks, with Rogerio Amaral, Devan Crumpton, Jaouad Khchina, Joshua Kosgei, Jasauana Dennis, and Cheyla Scott all showcasing their talent at the championships.
