South Carolina State’s football team is gearing up for the 2025 season with an exciting schedule ahead. With a record of 9-3 in the previous season under head coach Chennis Berry, the team is looking to continue its success.
The Bulldogs will face two FBS opponents, USF and South Carolina, along with one non-Division I team and four FCS non-conference games. In addition, they will compete in five MEAC conference matchups throughout the season.
The season will kick off on August 30 against Wofford, followed by a challenging game against South Carolina on September 6. The Bulldogs will then face Bethune-Cookman, USF, and Charleston Southern in September.
In October, South Carolina State will take on Savannah State, North Carolina A&T, and have a bye week before facing Norfolk State in late October. The team will wrap up the regular season with games against Morgan State, Howard, North Carolina Central, and Delaware State in November.
