Man admits to murdering Greenville woman who went missing in 2020

A man has confessed to the murder of a teenager who disappeared in 2020 in Greenville, South Carolina. Jordan Nebling, 19, went missing on October 10th, and 23-year-old Tyler Wilkins, already serving a 45-year sentence for another murder, confessed to stabbing her. Despite the confession, Nebling’s body has not been found, and search efforts are ongoing. Wilkins will face charges of murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. Greenville County Sheriff Hobart Lewis commended the investigators for their relentless pursuit of justice and expressed hope that the arrest could offer some closure to Nebling’s family. The case of Nebling’s disappearance was featured on a national TV show, “In Pursuit with John Walsh.” The Sheriff’s Office has executed numerous search warrants and searched various locations in connection to the case since 2020. The arrest of Wilkins is a significant development in this tragic case.
