SEC Women’s Championships: Eila Galitsky and Hannah Darling Shine for South Carolina


In the 2025 SEC Women’s Championships at Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida, the South Carolina Gamecocks have taken a commanding 14-shot lead going into the final round of stroke play. The team has shot rounds of 266-274 to reach 20-under, with LSU in second place at 6-under and Texas in third at 1-under. In the individual competition, freshman Eila Galitsky leads at 7-under, followed closely by All-American Hannah Darling at 6-under. The Gamecocks have a history of success in match play, having made all six years since 2018, with a pair of title match appearances. Last year, they secured the No. 1 seed in match play and were the only team under par in stroke play. The SEC Women’s Championship consists of 54 holes of stroke play followed by match play to determine the team champion. Pelican Golf Club is hosting the championship for the second consecutive year.
