Nick Pringle also shone with a double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing 11 rebounds, while Jamarii Thomas and Myles Stute each added 13 and 11 points, respectively.

The game saw a series of runs, beginning with South Carolina’s early 4-0 lead before Indiana responded with a swift 14-0 run, propelled by Rice’s jumper at the 14:34 mark of the first half. Despite a late push from the Gamecocks, which saw Pringle’s slam pull them within 11 points, Indiana maintained control throughout the second half. A remarkable half-court bank shot from Carlyle extended the lead to 49-35 early in the second period, exemplifying Indiana’s confident play.
