AFC Toronto, a Northern Super League club set to debut in Canada’s new professional women’s soccer league in April 2025, has launched its first-ever lifestyle merchandise line. The collection includes hoodies, sweatshirts, t-shirts, and ball caps ranging from $35 to $72 and is available online through AFC Toronto’s shop. Co-founder and CEO Helena Ruken expressed excitement about sharing the collection with the community, emphasizing that it embodies the club’s style, purpose, and connection with fans.
The merchandise reflects AFC Toronto’s vision to create opportunities for the city and its youth by championing equity, community, and ambition. Ruken emphasized the commitment to redefine the game on and off the field, stating that the merchandise launch demonstrates the club’s ability to achieve something remarkable. AFC Toronto has signed four players for the 2025 season, including Cloey Uddenberg, a midfielder with experience playing for various teams.
The club unveiled its name, colors, and crest in June, following the announcement of the NSL’s name and logo. AFC Toronto is the second of the league’s six inaugural clubs to unveil its identity, after Calgary Wild FC. The club’s launch of lifestyle merchandise signifies its dedication to engaging fans and building a strong community ahead of the 2025 season kickoff. With a focus on authenticity and innovation, AFC Toronto is poised to make a significant impact in the new Canadian professional women’s soccer league.
